Tink: Tinker Bell Live-Action Series in the Works at Disney+

Disney+ is developing Tink, a live-action series centered on Tinker Bell. The project was first conceived as a feature film with Reese Witherspoon attached to star.

Liz Heldens and Bridget Carpenter, veterans of Friday Night Lights, will write and executive-produce the series, guiding the pixie's small-screen adventures.

Tinker Bell has taken on leading roles across multiple projects since her 1953 animated debut, and the new series will put the character squarely in the spotlight.

Disney has been planning an updated live-action take on the character for some time, and the studio now regards the series as a high priority.
