Tom Hanks’ Beloved Baseball Drama Arrives on Tubi Next Month

A League of Their Own, the 1992 baseball drama starring Tom Hanks, will begin streaming on the free service Tubi on March 1.

Set in 1943 during World War II, the film follows a fictional team from the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The ensemble cast includes Tom Hanks, Madonna, Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Bill Pullman, David Strathairn, Rosie O’Donnell and Anne Ramsay.

Directed by Penny Marshall, the 128-minute picture was made for $40 million and went on to gross $132.4 million worldwide. Critics raved about the production and audiences flocked to cinemas.

Prime Video later developed a series of the same name, which was cancelled after one season. The original film will be available to stream on Tubi beginning March 1.
