Tom Holland likens Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle to RDJ's Tony Stark

Tom Holland is returning as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but instead of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark as a mentor, he has Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle as a 'big brother.' Holland called Bernthal 'incredible.'

Speaking at the Empire State Building to mark the trailer's release, Holland said one of the things he has enjoyed most is sharing the screen with Robert Downey Jr. and building the Spider-Man/Iron Man relationship. He noted Bernthal has come from a very different, R-rated kind of universe and that 'we've basically picked him up and plonked him into our world.'

Holland added that Bernthal 'absolutely sings in this movie' and suggested the Spider-Man-Punisher relationship might be his favorite onscreen dynamic he's ever had.
