Tottenham target two England goalkeepers and a 'new Manuel Neuer'
Tottenham are preparing for the summer transfer window by targeting two England goalkeepers and a shot‑stopper likened to Manuel Neuer, as they expect to sell Guglielmo Vicario and look for a ready-made replacement should they remain in the Premier League. The club are interested in Noah Atubolu of Freiburg and in Dean Henderson and James Trafford, of Crystal Palace and Manchester City respectively, amid Vicario links with Inter.
James Trafford would cost around £35 million, while Atubolu is viewed as the more cost-effective option because his contract expires in 2027 with no plans to renew. Antonin Kinsky may also leave after his ignominious Champions League showing against Atletico Madrid, although a loan move is considered a possibility.
Spurs are already preparing for life without Vicario, who will undergo surgery after Sunday’s fixture against Nottingham Forest.
