With Tracker back on a weekly schedule, “To the Bone” sends Colter Shaw to Queens for what begins as a missing-person case and quickly widens into a darker conspiracy. The episode also expands Reenie Greene’s law practice with a new class-action subplot that shakes things up in Denver.

Ben Pateras, an employee at Stepho’s, disappears after pocketing tip money and locking up, prompting Colter to take the job for a $10,000 reward. Clues from a spent taser cartridge, Ben’s phone and a homeless witness point to Elias Brawner, whose apartment yields fake passports and IDs; Elias claims he took the fall for Ben, who bought a car with the restaurant money and ran.

Tracking the car to a junkyard, Colter finds a dead woman, identified by NYPD Detective Blake as Nadia Fedosh. A second set of tire tracks casts doubt on Ben’s guilt, and Randy’s metadata work leads Colter to a locked basement used for an illegal webcam operation.
