Trailer Released for Hulu's The Testaments, Handmaid's Tale Spin-Off

Hulu has released the trailer for The Testaments, a sequel series inspired by Margaret Atwood's novel. The show premieres April 8 with its first three episodes, followed by weekly releases on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers. The Testaments centers on two young women, Agnes and Daisy.

Agnes is raised inside Gilead and groomed to become a future wife, while Daisy arrives from outside the regime and must adapt to a world governed by strict rules and constant surveillance. The official logline describes a coming-of-age story set in Gilead, where Aunt Lydia’s elite preparatory school for future wives enforces obedience brutally and with divine justification, and the bond between the two teens becomes the catalyst that will upend their past, present, and future.

Ann Dowd returns as Aunt Lydia. The cast also includes Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday, Mabel Li, Amy Seimetz, Brad Alexander, Rowan Blanchard, Mattea Conforti, Zarrin Darnell-Martin, Eva Foote, Isolde Ardies, Shechinah Mpumlwana, Birva Pandya and Kira Guloien.
