Travis Kelce references Taylor Swift lyric on Valentine's Day card
Travis Kelce made a cheeky nod to Taylor Swift's song "Wood" on a Valentine's Day card shared by his and Jason Kelce’s "New Heights" podcast on Instagram. The carousel of printable cards included one reading “WOOD you be my Valentine?” alongside a redwood tree and a photo of Kelce smiling.
The card pointed to Swift's 2025 song "Wood," in which she sings about Kelce's manhood. The track includes lines such as, “Forgive me, it sounds cocky / He (ah!)matized [d–kmatized] me / And opened my eyes,” and “Redwood tree / It ain’t hard to see / His love was the key / That opened my thighs.” It also contains a verse that praises his “BDE”: “New Heights (New Heights) of manhood (Manhood) / I ain’t gotta knock on wood.”
Swift later said her mother thought the song was about superstitions, calling the double entendre part of the joke. The pair went public in 2023, announced their engagement last August, and are both 36 as they prepare for their upcoming nuptials.
