Travis Kelce confirmed Monday he is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs for his 14th season, despite rampant retirement rumors. After reports about his plans, the Instagram account for his and Jason Kelce’s "New Heights" podcast posted an edited video and the caption "HE'S BACK!!!" The clip quotes a line from John Wick: "People keep asking if I’m back, and I haven’t really had an answer.

But now, yeah, I’m thinking I’m back." The NFL also posted, "He’s not done yet." Kelce ended his 13th season on Jan. 4 with a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders and had hinted at retirement in an interview with local reporter Sam McDowell, saying, "Who knows. Either it hits me quick or I gotta take some time." He added he planned to spend time with the team, "go through exit meetings tomorrow and get close to the family and figure things out." He has played for the Chiefs since 2013, winning three Super Bowls in 2020, 2023 and 2024.
