Trump emails supporters saying he's 'alone' in war room and urges donations
People reports President Donald Trump sent a campaign fundraising email to supporters just after midnight on Tuesday, Jan. 13, with the subject line, "I'm alone and in the dark," according to the Archive of Political Emails; political commentator Harry Sisson posted screenshots on X that drew about 1.4 million views.
The email opens, "Some people are saying: This is SAD!" and includes lines such as, "I'm sitting here. Alone. In the war room. Fighting for you," and "just me, one dying laptop, and the 72-hour countdown clock to my first mid-month deadline of the year just RANG." It warns the "radical Left" will flip the House and Senate in 2026 unless a fundraising goal is met, and claims Democrats are "spending BILLIONS (Dirty Money, I bet) to bury US and bury YOU!" The message urges a "small sacrifice" from supporters, says "I'm dead serious: miss this goal and the MAGA Movement crumbles," and offers a $47 donation within "the next 30 minutes" in exchange for a "limited-edition 2026 Trump Calendar," with a button labeled, "This is it.
No second chances." The email concludes with warnings that "the end is near" and that "The woke mind virus is infiltrating more and more Americans every day. This could be our last chance!" The email was sent one day before a Reuters interview on Wednesday, Jan.
