Two More Victims of Maine Plane Crash Identified
The Maine Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed two additional victims of the private plane crash, bringing the total killed to six. The new identifications are Jorden Reidel, a 33-year-old second pilot from Texas, and Shelby Kuyawa, a 34-year-old sommelier from Hawaii.
The Bombardier Challenger 650 crashed during takeoff at Bangor International Airport on the night of Jan. 25 and burst into flames, the FAA said. The group was flying from Houston to France’s Champagne region, stopping in Bangor to refuel as a snowstorm moved in; the agency reported four passengers and two members of the flight crew were on board.
PEOPLE had previously named Captain Jacob Hosmer, Tara Arnold, event planner Shawna Collins and chef Nick Mastrascusa among the victims. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident, and PEOPLE said it reached out to the Maine office of the Chief Medical Examiner but did not immediately receive a response.
