Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2 Tops Netflix US

Tyler Perry's divisive Netflix crime drama Beauty in Black has climbed to the top of Netflix's US charts following the release of Season 2 Part 2. Perry created, wrote and directed every episode; the series stars Taylor Polidore Williams as Kimmie, a stripper whose life is upended when she becomes entangled with a criminal cosmetics dynasty, alongside Crystle Stewart, Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Julian Horton and Steven G.

Norfleet. The second season was split into two parts, and when the latter half arrived fans streamed the new episodes heavily. Beauty in Black reached the #1 spot on Netflix in the US, displacing series such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the live-action One Piece and Virgin River.
