Ubisoft teases future Assassin’s Creed plans, confirms Black Flag remake
Ubisoft laid out plans for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, teasing future games, updating the live-action Netflix project and confirming a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The company shared concept art featuring a new logo and the remake’s title, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a name that had surfaced earlier via a ratings leak.
Jean Guesdon, the brand’s head of content, posted: “Speculation around Assassin’s Creed is not new, but it’s worth repeating: ‘Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.‘ Well, except in this case, some whispers have a little more wind in their sails. Keep your spyglass on the horizon.” More details emerged about Codename Hexe, believed to be the next main entry and set during the witch trials in the Holy Roman Empire.
