Ultrakill's eighth layer 'Fraud' arrives next week

Ultrakill's next major addition, Hell's eighth layer titled Fraud, will arrive in the early access shooter next week. It had originally been scheduled for the end of 2025 but suffered a minor, last‑minute delay. No exact day has been announced, though the developer urged fans: "Skip school. Call out sick from work. It's finally happening. And we're not lying."

The studio's early access projects — Gloomwood, Fallen Aces and Ultrakill — have endured long waits, but those delays have revealed increasing scale and ambition across the titles.

Ultrakill appears closest to a full 1.0 release, with just one more layer, Treachery, planned after Fraud. The studio also plans a grid‑based, Grimrock‑style spinoff of Dusk called Dungeons of Dusk for later this year.

Ultrakill is priced at $25. The Fraud launch will coincide with the studio's customary anniversary sale from February 23 through March 2.
