Uma Thurman Returns in Prime Video Thriller Pretty Lethal
Uma Thurman returns to the action genre in Pretty Lethal, directed by Vicky Jewson and written by Kate Freund. After her leading roles in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill films and a break from action, Thurman recently reappeared in The Old Guard 2 and now fronts this new ensemble thriller.
The film stars Thurman alongside Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds, Iris Apatow, Maddie Ziegler, Avantika and Michael Culkin. It will have its world premiere at SXSW on March 13 and arrives on Prime Video on March 25, 2026. Pretty Lethal follows five ballerinas en route to a prestigious competition whose bus breaks down in a remote forest.
Finding shelter at an unsettling roadside inn run by Devora Kasimer (Thurman), the group quickly senses that something is wrong; as danger turns deadly, the dancers must put aside rivalries and turn years of training—and even pointe shoes—into tools for survival.
