US names six service members killed in Iran conflict
The Defense Department has released the names of six service members killed in the Iran conflict. All six were serving in the US Army Reserve under the 103rd Sustainment Command in Iowa. The servicemembers were identified as: Capt. Cody Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida; Sgt.
1st Class Nicole Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska; Sgt. Declan Coady, 20, of Des Moines, Iowa; Maj. Jeffrey R. O'Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa; and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California.
The soldiers died on March 1 in Kuwait at the Port of Shuaiba during an incident that remains under investigation. CENTCOM's initial report said two more service members were seriously hurt in the attack, while several other troops suffered shrapnel injuries and concussions.
