Valve announces Steam Spring Sale dates, teases big game discounts

Valve announced the Steam Spring Sale start date with a brief trailer that teases some of the hundreds of discounts planned. The 2026 Steam Spring Sale begins on Thursday, March 19 at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT and runs through Thursday, March 26 at the same time. The teaser highlights a dozen or so PC games that will headline the sale and offers a look at the deep discounts section.

It leans on "friendslop" co-op and multiplayer picks such as RV There Yet, Raft, Sons of the Forest, and Yapyap, while also including a broad range of indies and AAA titles — standouts include Unbeatable, Dave the Diver, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, No Man's Sky, Pathologic 3, Manor Lords, Phasmophobia, and Strange Antiquities.

The deep discount section will include Resident Evil 3 Remake, Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars: Jedi — Survivor, Vampyr, Metro: Last Light Redux, and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, along with a lot more. Steam's seasonal sales feature discounts on literally thousands of games from hundreds of developers and publishers.
