Valve reaffirms Steam hardware will launch in 2026

Valve has clarified the release schedule for its Steam Frame, Controller and Machine, reaffirming the devices will arrive in 2026 despite an AI-driven squeeze on PC hardware.

A 2025 year-in-review post initially made it sound like a 2027 delay could be possible; Valve has since revised that post to use more definitive, confident language about a 2026 release window.
