Victrola used CES 2026 to introduce the Soundstage, the company's first soundbase designed to sit under a turntable and replace bookshelf or tabletop speakers to save space. The compact unit offers wireless connectivity and is intended as a higher-quality alternative to all-in-one systems for vinyl setups.

Victrola says the Soundstage uses a Symmetric Drive Woofer with dual diaphragm technology and down-firing drivers plus rear-facing ports to detect and mitigate harmful low frequencies that can cause vibrations and interfere with a record player's stylus. The company also touts a Balanced Mode Radiator and a low crossover point, which it claims preserve midrange and high frequencies while projecting them forward for wide, even sound dispersion.

ZDNet's writer who demoed the Soundstage at CES 2026 called it promising for both vinyl beginners and hobbyists, noting strong volume and clear bass without apparent disruption to the turntable. Soundbases remain an emerging market with few choices, and Victrola presents the Soundstage as an option for listeners who lack space or do not want to build a separate hi-fi speaker system; if the speaker performs as Victrola claims, it could address that gap for compact vinyl setups.
