After more than a year away, Virgin River returns with a new trailer that offers a first look at its seventh season. The preview brings viewers back to the Northern California town and keeps familiar faces, led by Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson, at the center.

The trailer focuses on Mel and Jack preparing for parenthood while also dropping difficult news that could upend their adoption plans. Tim Matheson’s Doc Mullins tries to regain his patients’ trust with support from his wife Hope (Annette O’Toole), even as he frets she may be interested in someone else; other relationships in town are on uncertain footing.

Adapted from Robyn Carr’s novels, the series has returned repeatedly since 2019 as a comfort-giving, soap-like small-town drama that has grown its audience from season to season. After a long gap between seasons, all 10 new episodes are set to arrive on Netflix.
