Blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain said the wallet labelled vitalik.eth offloaded 3,788.57 ETH over the past three days, transactions valued at roughly $7.3 million. The sales coincided with a softer week for Ethereum, which has hovered around the $1,800 level and fallen nearly 8% over seven days as the broader market consolidated and Bitcoin slipped below $65,000.

On-chain records show earlier transfers by the same wallet at times linked to charitable donations and ecosystem funding, though such data does not always reveal final use. Arkham data indicates wallets attributed to Buterin still hold more than $430 million, suggesting these disposals are a fraction of his overall holdings.

Buterin has recently focused on Ethereum's long-term resilience, outlining a security-oriented blueprint to strengthen wallet safety and reduce systemic DeFi risks.
