Walk the Frog is a cosy puzzle about waking a frog for spring

Walk the Frog is a cosy puzzle game that begins with Froggo waking from hibernation. After a long, dark winter he emerges sleepy and hungry and can’t remember the way out of his cave. Players piece together his world by slotting puzzle pieces to draw him from slumber.

Along the way you meet other characters who need help. A rat in a hat is likewise lost, and a father stork is searching for his wayward storklings; you guide the rat out and uncover the storklings’ hiding places to return them to their parent. Later Froggo aims to reach his pond beyond the river in time for the Froggapalooza spring festival.

The demo visits Insect City, where you encounter the official dungbeetle El Duke and must lure a cave salamander to open a shortcut, aided by a poo-hungry fly and some little fireflies. Tasks include using a mass of banana peels to draw slugs out of a club so El Duke can impress the Duchess of PermaCultura, then meeting a family of moles and digging out of the city.
