Wealdstone furious after Sak Hassan plays in Baller League UK without permission
Wealdstone FC have expressed their fury after midfielder Sak Hassan featured in the Baller League UK without their authorization. The former Tottenham prospect lined up for KSI’s Prime FC in a 7-3 win over N5 FC while still under contract, and the appearance quickly gained traction online with millions of views.
The National League club published a formal statement on X that has attracted over 2.5 million impressions, saying it had not been approached for permission nor told of Hassan’s involvement in advance. Wealdstone added it will follow up with both the Baller League and the player directly, noting the significant injury risk of playing outside sanctioned fixtures.
Hassan has made 27 appearances since his summer move from Hashtag United and got on the scoresheet for Prime FC. He has previously featured for John Terry’s '26ers' in the Baller League UK format and, with 10 caps and two goals for Somalia, now faces an investigation that could result in a fine or suspension.
