The Wedding During Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Was Real

Some viewers spent the second half of the Super Bowl focused on the Seattle Seahawks closing out a decisive victory over the New England Patriots. Others watched to see whether the couple who appeared in the wedding scene during Bad Bunny’s halftime show had actually married.

Bad Bunny’s public relations agency confirmed the couple were married live onstage. The 13-minute performance was a joyful celebration of Latin culture, mostly in Spanish. It featured a sugar cane field, domino players, a New York–style street scene with a bodega, a pan‑American parade—and a wedding scene.

About halfway through, a couple in white kissed before an officiant in black as other dancers looked on; moments later the crowd parted to reveal Lady Gaga, who danced with Bad Bunny to his song "Baile Inolvidable" in a reception scene with a cake and a child sleeping on some chairs.
