Steph Curry will be sidelined for at least 10 more days and is not expected to play in the NBA on NBC Sunday Night Basketball matchup between the Warriors and Knicks on March 15.

The guard has missed the last 15 Warriors games with patella-femoral pain syndrome and a bone bruise in his right knee. He was re-evaluated on Wednesday, and the team said he is making good progress while working out individually and gradually intensifying his training.

For now Curry is not cleared to play and likely won’t return until later in March; the exact date will depend on how his rehab goes. The Warriors said they will re-evaluate him on March 18. He last played on Jan. 30 against Detroit and had been leading the team in scoring at 27.2 points per game before the injury.

Curry is 37 and will turn 38 on Saturday, March 14. Outside basketball he recently appeared as a version of himself in the Peacock comedy series Mr. Throwback, and when healthy he remains one of the top players on the court.
