When Jessie Buckley's 'The Bride!' Will Stream on HBO Max

The Bride! opens in theaters on Mar. 6, 2026. Directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal and set in 1930s Chicago, the story begins with Frankenstein's monster asking Dr. Euphronius to create a companion. Christian Bale plays the monster and Jessie Buckley his lover, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Penélope Cruz in the supporting cast.

Warner Bros. holds distribution rights, so the film will stream exclusively on HBO Max once its theatrical run ends. Warner releases typically reach HBO Max 30 to 45 days after opening; several 2025 titles followed windows of roughly two to ten weeks. With no streaming date announced yet, The Bride!

is expected to arrive on HBO Max around April 15, since new SVOD titles on the service usually debut on Fridays. Before reaching HBO Max, the film will first be available on premium video on demand to buy or rent through stores such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Google TV and Vudu.
