Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden returns to The Voice as a Battle Advisor for The Voice: Battle of Champions, bringing experience from both adult and kids editions of the franchise. He’s known for pop-rock hits such as "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" and for his work as a guitarist.

In 2016 he coached on The Voice Australia alongside his twin brother Joel. Their "Team Madden" guided Joe Moore to a runner-up finish on Season 4, and the twins had previously co-coached on The Voice Kids Australia, where Bella Paige was their highest-placing artist.

Joel noted that sharing a chair let them split the workload—"it is a little of an unfair advantage"—and Benji added, "Life ain't fair baby! Life ain't always fair!" Madden appears on the Battles round beginning Monday night's episode on March 16, 2026, serving as an advisor to Team Adam.
