Where to find and use Marathon DCONs

Marathon DCONs are small machines found at the edges of maps and crop up often in contracts, so it helps to know where to find them and how to use them. They aren’t permanently marked and seem to appear only sometimes, so it’s useful to remember their spots on Perimeter and Dire Marsh.

When you get close a black-and-white icon points to the precise location, though it’s not as generous as the markers in the Marathon Welcome to Tau Ceti mission. DCONs sit outside or on top of small shelter buildings near major POIs on all Marathon maps. On Perimeter you can find one west-northwest of the main North Relay area in the northwest corner of the map, another in the rock-formation and colony-vehicle area northeast of Station, one way south of the main South Relay on the very edge of Perimeter, and one on the western edge of Overflow at the end of a walkway from the main structure.
