Who is playing in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026?
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 runs from February 7 to March 8, with the group stage from February 7-20, a Super 8 phase from February 21 to March 1, semi-finals on March 4 and 5 and the final on March 8. Matches will be played across venues in India and Sri Lanka.
Twenty teams take part. Group A: India, Pakistan, United States, Netherlands, Namibia. Group B: Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Oman. Group C: England, West Indies, Nepal, Italy, Scotland. Group D: New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, Canada, United Arab Emirates.
Italy makes its tournament debut in 2026. The United States, Canada and Uganda first appeared at the T20 World Cup two years earlier in 2024. India enter as defending champions after beating South Africa in Barbados to win the 2024 title, having also won the inaugural event in 2007.
