Why the Final Fantasy Magic card Flash Photography is spiking in value
Magic players have suddenly started paying a lot more attention to one previously overlooked Final Fantasy card. Flash Photography — a blue sorcery showing Final Fantasy 15’s Prompto Argentum taking a selfie with a chocobo — has jumped sharply in price. Throughout most of February its market value sat just above $8; Scryfall now lists it at $38.77, TCG Player’s cheapest listings are $32, and one near‑mint copy is listed at $123.60.
Flash Photography comes from the FF15‑themed Camp Comrades scene box released in December 2025, which originally sold for $41.99 and includes six unique cards depicting Noctis, Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto. The box offers a different, powerful version of Noctis called Noctis, Heir Apparent, while the other cards lean heavily into character flavor—the bespectacled chef Ignis pairs with the Campsite Cuisine enchantment used in food decks, and Gladio’s Warrior’s Resolve showcases the rare training mechanic.
