Widow honors James Van Der Beek on what would have been his 49th birthday

Kimberly Van Der Beek remembered her husband on what would have been his 49th birthday on March 8. “Would be your 49th birthday today,” she wrote on Instagram Stories over a photo of the two of them. “And I’m missing you tremendously.” She shared dozens of photos and videos, many featuring the couple’s six children: daughters Olivia, Annabel, Emilia and Gwendolyn, and sons Joshua and Jeremiah.

One clip showed Van Der Beek clearing brush. “Just a year and a half ago,” Kimberly wrote. Other videos included him dancing with his kids. In the carousel she called him “the best humanity had to offer” and wrote, “You are the light of our lives,” followed by: “Your love.
