'Wild Horse Nine' Trailer Reveals Sam Rockwell CIA Thriller

Martin McDonagh's new film Wild Horse Nine has unveiled its first trailer, reuniting the director with Sam Rockwell in a CIA thriller that also features John Malkovich. Set amid the real 1973 Chilean coup, the story follows two CIA agents—played by Rockwell and Malkovich—whose unlikely bond threatens to derail their mission.

The ensemble cast includes Steve Buscemi, Mariana di Girolamo, Ailín Salas, Tom Waits and Parker Posey. McDonagh wrote and directed the picture. A seven-time Academy Award nominee who won for his short film Six Shooter, he returns to the darkly comic, character-driven territory familiar from Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, The Banshees of Inisherin and Seven Psychopaths; Rockwell previously won an Academy Award for his performance in Three Billboards.

Wild Horse Nine is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.
