Woody Harrelson Foretold Jack Black and Jack White’s SNL Pairing

Saturday Night Live teased its next host and musical guest during Harry Styles’ March 14 episode, following a run of three consecutive shows from Connor Storrie, Ryan Gosling and Styles. The upcoming episode pairs Jack Black as host with Jack White as musical guest, and the black-and-white theme has already inspired puns and memes online.

Jack Black returns exactly one year after his Season 50 appearance and will take the stage on April 4, when he will join SNL’s Five-Timers Club. He recently voiced Bowser in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which hits theaters on April 1. Black’s earlier hosting turns include Season 27 (January 19, 2002 with The Strokes), Season 29 (October 4, 2003 with John Mayer), Season 31 (December 17, 2005 with Neil Young) and Season 50 (April 5, 2025 with Elton John and Brandi Carlile).

Jack White returns for his sixth SNL performance; his appearances stretch back to his debut with The White Stripes in October 2002.
