Woody Harrelson's Stellar War Epic Won’t Be Available Much Longer
Since first charming viewers as an eager-to-help bartender on Cheers during the show’s fourth season, Woody Harrelson has been a steady presence in film and television, moving between small-screen projects and memorable movie roles. If you’re hunting for a lesser-seen Harrelson entry, Midway leaves Tubi on March 1, so the film won’t be available on the platform much longer.
Helmed by Roland Emmerich, Midway is an adaptation of the 1976 Jack Smight-directed feature of the same name and centers on the early days of the United States’ involvement in World War II. The story picks up around the attack on Pearl Harbor and follows the long, harrowing, and bloody days that lead to the Battle of Midway.
