Santiment’s Positive/Negative Sentiment indicator for XRP climbed to 2.35 over the past five days, the highest reading in five weeks, while Bitcoin and Ethereum sit near neutral at 1.05 and 1.4. The metric filters crypto posts and threads and uses a machine‑learning model to separate bullish and bearish comments; values above 1 indicate bullish mentions outnumber bearish ones.

XRP is trading near $1.42 with roughly $2.22 billion in 24‑hour volume as social optimism rises despite recent price struggles and a broader market losing momentum. Santiment attributed the surge in positive chatter to recent partnership expansion announcements that have driven bullish comments in recent days.

The analytics firm cautioned that heightened social excitement does not necessarily translate into price gains, noting that crypto markets often move contrary to majority expectations. Under that framework, the relatively subdued sentiment for Bitcoin and Ethereum could leave them better positioned for a potential rebound.
