Yellowjackets has entered production on its fourth and final season. A cryptic teaser on the show's official social media calls back to the end of season three in the flashback timeline, when the stranded soccer team finally reaches a means of escape from the wilderness.

The clip flashes quick, violent images of the teen cast and displays the message "The Final Call," echoing shots of Natalie calling for help over a satellite radio and a response finally coming through.

The series follows a high school girls' soccer team whose plane crashes while traveling to a competition. Survival turns desperate: the teens resort to cannibalism, split into rival factions, and the narrative also follows the adult survivors as the trauma of their youth feeds the chaos of their lives.

Yellowjackets was originally planned as five seasons, and the show is moving ahead with a final season after the developments of season three. No premiere date for season four has been announced.
