Coverage from Pcgamer reports that Alphabet said YouTube's annual revenues surpassed $60 billion across ads and subscriptions. Alphabet's results show YouTube ads brought in $11.38 billion in the last quarter, up from $10.47 billion in last year's comparable quarter.

CEO Neal Mohan reported that YouTube Shorts average 200 billion daily views and said YouTube has been "#1 in streaming watchtime in the U.S. for nearly three years," citing Nielsen's The Gauge. The article cites usage estimates of between 2.5 and 2.7 billion monthly active users as of 2025, with more than 1 billion hours of video consumed daily and over 20 million videos uploaded on average per day.

It also notes the difficulty of calculating exact operating costs, pointing to creator monetisation payments, employee costs and server maintenance as major expenses. Alphabet's Q4 report lists Google Services revenue at $95.86 billion with operating income of $40.132 billion, and $55.73 billion spent on servicing costs in the last quarter.
