Zach Braff, Donald Faison recall 'heated' podcast fight

Zach Braff and Donald Faison say their friendship has weathered several big fights since they met on Scrubs in 2001. Braff told Jimmy Kimmel Live that one argument began when Faison showed up late to a Zoom recording of their rewatch podcast and didn’t apologize; Faison maintained he was only 'three minutes late,' while Braff remembered it as 'like a half hour late.' The engineer recorded the row, the pair stopped the session and agreed to regroup the next day, but they never released the audio despite fans urging them to.

Kimmel pushed them to share the tape, but both said they would not. Braff said 'words were said' that 'can't be taken back' and that it 'got heated,' while Faison called the dispute 'totally trivial.' Braff also described the spat as 'hilarious because it's like a married couple having a tiff' and joked that Faison 'hasn't apologized in 25 years for anything.' Braff and Faison launched their podcast in 2020 to revisit the show they began on in 2001.
