Zach Cregger has beaten Resident Evil Requiem twice, proving his series cred

Resident Evil movie director Zach Cregger has shown his Resident Evil credentials: Deadline writer Destiny Jackson revealed on Twitter that he has already beaten the latest release, Resident Evil Requiem, twice. In a follow-up, Jackson said Cregger "noped out" of what she called the "scariest" entry in the series, Resident Evil Village (she prefers Resident Evil 7, citing nightmares about the monster in House Beneviento).

Cregger's Resident Evil is set for release on September 18 and is reportedly an entirely original story that still takes place in the Resident Evil world.
