Zachery Ty Bryan sentenced to 16 months in jail for 2024 DUI
Zachery Ty Bryan was sentenced to 16 months in jail for a DUI stemming from a 2024 arrest. He pleaded guilty to driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.15 percent or higher — double the 0.08 percent legal limit — in Riverside County. Bryan struck a plea deal, was denied probation and received a 57-day credit for time served.
Officers arrested him on a felony DUI charge and a misdemeanor contempt of court charge after stopping a vehicle in La Quinta around 2:30 a.m. in February 2024; they had believed the vehicle was involved in a traffic collision and observed signs of impairment. He was booked into the John Benoit Detention Center, with bail set at $50,000 plus a $15,000 fee for the misdemeanor, and he posted bail the same day.
He was later arrested on a DUI charge and for driving without a license in Custer County, Ok., in October 2024. Bryan told officers he had "too much" to drink and said his expired license was the result of multiple prior DUI arrests.
