Zack Snyder Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary of His 'Justice League' Cut
Zack Snyder is marking the fifth anniversary of his cut of Justice League, which debuted on HBO Max on Mar. 18, 2021, and the tenth anniversary of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, released on Mar. 25, 2016. On Mar. 10, 2026, Snyder posted an image of the dilapidated Wayne Manor — the DCEU’s version of the Hall of Justice — writing, "Eight days from now we mark the fifth anniversary of Zack Snyder’s Justice League," and including an exchange between Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne about the age of heroes, with Bruce affirming it would come again.
He added, "Five years later… and the age of heroes still feels very real." Two days later he shared a photo of actor Wayne T. Carr as John Stewart with the caption, "@waynetcarr as John Stewart. A hero we planned to bring into the Justice League story. Some paths remain unseen… but the green glow is still out there." Carr’s cameo was cut after Warner Bros.
