ZDNET picks ESR Aura as best MagSafe wallet after hands-on testing
ZDNET went hands-on with a range of MagSafe wallets and named the ESR Aura MagSafe wallet and stand its best overall pick for its versatile design, comfortable storage and color options. The site highlighted ESR's wallet for offering five card slots including a dedicated ID pocket, notches for easy card access and a strong magnetic hold, noting it is available for under $30 at the time of writing.
ZDNET also praised the Satechi Magnetic Wallet Stand for its premium vegan-leather build and four card slots, and in a January update added Moft's Snap Field wallet and Ekster's Cardholder Pro for their increased storage and elevated designs. Other notable options called out include Nomad's Leather Mag wallet with built-in Find My tracking and a rechargeable battery ZDNET says can last up to five months (the reviewer notes Nomad states four-card capacity but finds three more practical); Ohsnap's aluminium expandable Snap Grip that holds up to eight cards with RFID blocking; Ekster's Cardholder Pro with a card-ejection lever and up to seven-card capacity (more with add-ons); Journey's Ezmo wallet with RFID protection and a built-in stand; Moft's ultra-thin snap-on wallet; and Supcase's MagFlip, which doubles as a stand and tripod.
ZDNET said its selections were based on practicality, durability, versatility and price after multiweek testing.
