ZDNET writer names five CES 2026 products she'd buy immediately
At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, ZDNET writer Kerry Wan highlighted five products she would buy as soon as they go on sale. Wan singled out Samsung's S95H OLED, which the outlet called Best TV of CES, for its glare‑free display tech that preserves brightness, color and contrast. She said the TV's flexible I/O—onboard ports plus an optional Wireless One Connect Box—would suit her multiple consoles and speakers, and noted the older S95F has similar panel tech at a lower price; Wan also advised waiting for holiday sales if you can be patient.
She also picked Seattle Ultrasonics' C-200 chef's knife, which the company says vibrates 30,000 times per second to slice everything from soft‑skinned tomatoes to hard potatoes. Wan noted the C-200's $400 price and quoted a CNET colleague, David Watsky, calling the sensation "an odd sensation, but not uncomfortable in any way." Other highlights were Roborock's Saros Rover, a robot vacuum that uses frog‑like legs to lift itself up flights of stairs, and a creaseless foldable display Wan saw at a private Samsung Display showcase that had no dip or bump and no distracting glare.
Wan suggested such a panel may be what Samsung supplies to Apple for a rumored iPhone Fold. Wan also praised Dell's revived XPS 13—part of the returned XPS lineup—with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, a tandem OLED display, a long‑lasting battery and improved keycaps, trackpad and repairability.
