ZDNET reviewed the Galvanox Pet‑Proof USB‑C to USB‑C charge cable, saying the cable is built to resist chewing and abrasion and is sold in 6‑foot and 10‑foot lengths for about $15 and $18 (ZDNET also lists $14.99 at Amazon). The review says everything that can be clad in metal on the cable is metal: the cord is wrapped in a double‑reinforced stainless steel jacket and the connectors are armored with alloy.

ZDNET notes the stainless‑steel jacket looks like a shower hose and that the cable has been tested to withstand at least 20,000 bends. ZDNET reports the connectors are svelte and no larger than regular USB‑C plugs, so they still fit many phones in cases. The cable is described as highly abrasion‑resistant, tangle‑proof and resistant to damage from bending.

On power and data, the review says the Galvanox cable supports up to 60W charging and data transfer rates of 480MB/s, making it suitable for smartphones and tablets but not for charging most laptops or for heavy data transfers. The review notes a drawback: the cable’s heft makes the longer 10‑foot model a bit unwieldy and prone to erupting when wrapped, so a cable tie helps for storage.

ZDNET’s reviewer said they did not try chewing the cable but did attack it with knives and tools without cutting it.
