ZDNET rounded up seven smart glasses that stood out at CES 2026, noting the category's focus on longer battery life, expanded functionality, greater comfort and advances in XR and AI features. Reviewers called out several models: Kerry Wan highlighted the RayNeo Air 4 Pro as the world's first HDR10-enabled smart glasses, with a dedicated image quality chip, 1,200-nit peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, Bang & Olufsen‑tuned audio and a 76‑gram weight.

Prakhar Khanna praised the Rokid AI Glasses Style for their light design, nose pads and a Meta Ray‑Ban‑like feature set (camera, open‑ear speakers and mics), noting a 12‑hour rating but no charging case and a pogo‑pin charging dongle; he also flagged the XGIMI Memomind, which uses a display in each lens, MicroLED brightness and a $599 price.

Sabrina Ortiz described the Xreal 1S as an upgraded, lower‑priced XR headset that adds Real3D conversion of static content, and she and Kerry Wan reported on Xreal's ROG‑branded R1 gaming glasses that project a 171‑inch virtual display at 240Hz and include a Control Dock with Anchor Mode.

Other highlights included the Loomos AI glasses, which Ortiz said she tried and praised for a swappable battery and a neckband power bank; the company claims the battery offers up to 40 hours of standby time and the glasses include a Qualcomm processor and a 16MP camera.
