Zendaya appears to confirm marriage to Tom Holland at Essence awards

Zendaya appeared to confirm she and Tom Holland are already married during a telling moment at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards. Host Marsai Martin joked onstage that Zendaya “didn’t play about her personal life,” asking her to “just give a little nod or signal” when she should send a wedding gift — a clear reference to rumors the couple secretly tied the knot.

Zendaya flashed what appeared to be a gold wedding band, waving her hands around her face as the crowd cheered and clapped. She laughed while Marsai continued to joke that she was going to give Zendaya “T and Z forever” monogram towels, and was also overheard accepting well wishes from other attendees.

She has been seen wearing what appears to be the gold band publicly, including at the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week and in photographs in Beverly Hills with producer Josh Lieberman and in a shoot with Robert Pattinson.
