UDP Application: Throughput and Delay Analysis
In this simulation study using OMNeT++, we investigate the performance of a UDP (User Datagram Protocol) application in terms of throughput and delay. By utilizing OMNeT++, a discrete event simulation environment, we model the behavior of the UDP application and analyze its performance metrics. Throughput measures the rate of successful data delivery over the network, while delay quantifies the time taken for data packets to traverse the network. By examining these results, we aim to gain insights into the efficiency and responsiveness of the UDP application under various network conditions and configurations. This study contributes to understanding the behavior of UDP-based systems and aids in optimizing their performance for real-world applications.
