Ocurrio en Foz de Yguazu. En la mañana de este lunes 15 de abril de 2024, alrededor de las 9:30 horas, los paramedicos de Siate, de Foz de Yguazu, fueron alertados para acudir detrás de la prisión pública Laudemir Neves, en el Jardim Atlantis, para brindar asistencia. La víctima, un joven que fue atropellado, y luego baleado según puede verse en cámaras de circuito cerrado. Ante la información, una ambulancia de Siate y apoyo médico se desplazaron al lugar. Los socorristas de Siate atendieron a la víctima identificada como Luiz Henrique de Almeida, de 22 años, quien presentaba, además de las lesiones provocadas por el choque, dos impactos de bala, uno en el brazo y otro en el rostro. Según información, tres personas se encontraban en un vehículo VW/Fox cuando la víctima fue atropellada en la vía pública, y la víctima salió corriendo, siendo perseguida y baleada. La víctima fue trasladada al Servicio de Emergencias del Hospital Municipal en estado grave.
