Malaysia has the longest highway.
Malaysia has 290,099.38 kilometers of highways, which is even larger than the circumference of the Earth (40,075 kilometers). Most federal roads in Malaysia are two-lane roads. Malaysia implements a right-hand drive system where drivers drive on the left side of the road. However, there are certain places where additional routes are available. In urban areas, federal roads can become four-lane roads to increase traffic capacity. In hilly areas, a third additional climbing lane is available for slower vehicles such as buses and trucks.
