Russia "Captures" Another Village Near Avdiivka | Macron Warns Of Putin's Missiles At EU'...
Russia said its forces seized the village of Ocheretyne in Ukraine's Donetsk region, the latest in a string of small territorial gains for Moscow. The Russian defence ministry said its troops had "completely liberated the village of Ocheretyne in the Donetsk People's Republic,” 15 km near Avdiivka. Zelensky alleged Russia used 8 missiles of various kinds and nearly 70 guided aerial bombs against communities and frontline positions during the day. Russia’s victory could allow Moscow to place missiles at the EU’s doorstep, said the French President. Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski emphasised that Poland won't rule out anything when it comes to sending troops to Ukraine. Sikorski also echoed France’s Macron, saying Putin should be kept in the dark about the West’s possible next steps.
