Another conflict with the Persians is building, this time at sea, as King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans prepare for their meeting with fate at Thermopylae. Greek general Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) recognizes the danger posed by Persia's God-King Xerxes. He is aware that in order to have any hope of stopping the Persian invasion, he must unite all of Greece. Themistocles will still have to contend with Artemisia (Eva Green), the vicious commander of the Persian armada, even if he succeeds in his objective.
